The following projects were completed at work. A few were done in collaboration with others, one or two were updates of existing code, and most were built by myself from the ground up.

TMATS Wizard

A web application for creating IRIG 106-05 compliant TMATS files. Fill in a few fields and this javascript-driven page will create a text file that is formatted correctly.

I was particularly happy with this as it was my first project using DHTML.

TMATS Explorer

The Telemetry Attributes Transfer Standard (TMATS) Explorer is an advanced visualization tool for IRIG-106 Chapter 9 Compliant Files. Is contains about 40k lines of code/comment (largely GUI) and was designed and implemented by myself.

Coded in VB.Net and C#:

  • Over 100 forms and controls
  • A file manipulation library with over 70 distinct classes
  • Several fully interactive, custom controls build up from a Picturebox
  • Utilizes XML data file

Maestro
2005 - 2006

Maestro is interface to a multiplexed digital data recorder. It provides the GUI and interface code for the core recording code. It is a conglomeration of VB.Net, C#, and managed/unmanaged C++ code. Highlights are:

Created a basic HTML website in preparation for an upcoming conference. Went with a minimalist design with lots of white space. Collaborated with the company president and used must of the same material in the conference flyers.

Created a basic file reader to view IRIG 106 Chapter 10 compliant data files and display the information to the user. This product is used heavily for internal development.

TMView
~2003/2004

TelTron Telemetry Systems

TMView is a tool for the 3D visualization of missile tests for United States missile defense. Used for years across the range for the valuable and entertaining information it provides, the TMView customer base is slowly growing. I provided support for updates and major renovations of the existing code for better flexibility and ease of use. TMView was successfully used in 2003/2004 in support of the NMD integrated flight tests.

TLM Display 2 is a complete re-write of TelTron's TLM Display telemetry display program. It displays graphs and grids, implements complex limits checking to make sure your missile is where it's supposed to be, and is highly expandable by both TelTron and the end user!

RCI

The Remote Command Interface (RCI) is a command unit for remotely commanding PCs in a networked environment. The RCI application runs programs, types on the keyboard, and opens/manages additional Ethernet connections-all while returning status and sending messages to other entities on the network.
